Description

A gold-finished skull of a sabre-toothed cat, crafted from cast resin and painted to resemble gold. The long, curved fangs and blackened teeth give it a fierce appearance. This piece was picked up in the South Loop of Chicago.

Photographs show the skull in hand for scale and highlight the fangs, jaw, and underside in detail. It has a heft to it, surprising for a cast resin replica. The sort of thing Ahab might have bolted to the mast, if he’d been into extinct big cats.
