From the Captain's Log

I picked up this piece at an art fair on the South Side. Charlie Burns was the artist, and I remember him sitting there with a big grin, surrounded by his work. The colors on this one caught my eye right away—the pink sun and those green spirals just seemed to pop out at you. I chatted with Charlie for a bit, and he told me he liked to play with colors and shapes that shouldn't work together but somehow do. Honestly, I'm only selling because I'm out of wall space.
