Description
A dark, old-master-style portrait in a carved gilt frame — except the gentleman has been painted (or has faded) almost entirely into the murk. A collar, the suggestion of a face, the idea of a man. Surface grime we chose not to clean because honestly it’s part of him now.
One of one. When this lot is gone, it’s gone.
