Description

A linen-finish postcard, “Night Scene, Looking South, on Michigan Boulevard, Chicago”: a full moon over the lit towers, Grant Park dark on the left and the avenue running away in streaks of light.

The back reads that “to the left can be seen Chicago’s famous Grant Park and to the right are shown many of Chicago’s prominent skyscrapers.” Published by the Union News Company, made by Tichnor Bros., Boston (“Tichnor Quality Views”). Unused, with an old dealer’s pencil note and a small spot at the bottom of the back. Close-ups show the moon and the towers.
